Erin Fitch Nielson is an experienced litigator, but her goal is to help her clients maximize their benefits and minimize conflict.
Attorney Nielson invested years gaining valuable experience working for seasoned attorneys, before opening Nielson Law Offices, LLC in 2007. She is admitted to practice before the state and federal courts of Massachusetts.
Attorney Nielson is a graduate of Northeastern University School of Law, where she received a merit scholarship to partially fund her studies. She was an active member of her law school community, representing Northeastern in Moot Court competition. As part of her studies, she completed four full-time, three month internships, as follows: Judge Patti Saris of the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, Children's Law Center of Massachusetts, Sherin and Lodgen, and Ogletree Deakins. After law school, she was honored to serve as Judicial Law Clerk to the Justices of the Massachusetts Superior Court, where she assisted the Court with legal research and writing.
Prior to law school, Attorney Nielson worked in the field of refugee resettlement. Most recently, she served in a managment capacity, overseeing a staff of six social workers providing resettlement services to refugee families from around the world. In addition to her J.D., Attorney Nielson holds a Master's Degree in Intercultural Management and Sustainable Development from the School for International Training.
Attorney Nielson's history in social services serves her well in her law practice, particularly in the area of domestic relations. She is a trained mediator, is qualified to accept assignments as a Guardian ad Litem, and is an active member of the Committee for Public Counsel Services Children and Family Law program.
Attorney Nielson lives in Westford with her husband and three young children.
Robin brings a over a decade of experience in law practice management to Nielson Law Offices. She worked as a paralegal at Talbot Law Offices in Littleton during the real estate boom years, where she coordinated up to thirty real estate transactions in a day, for five attorneys. Previously, she worked at a general practice firm in Westford where she gained experience in a wide variety of practice areas. Hers is the kind voice you'll hear when you call our office. When she's not helping clients on the phone, Robin is busy making sure our practice runs smoothly.
